CyberBrokers Community Fund Update - August 2022
Empowering the community to bring epic ideas to life.
Creating a universe as rich as CyberBrokers requires not just one internal team building, it takes an entire community. Luckily, we have the best one out there. That’s why in March 2022, we allocated up to $174,000 over the next year to fund Bounties and original community-led Creations to help expand the CyberBrokers universe.
Read on for details about what Bounties and Creations we have funded so far and what new features and projects the community can expect as a result.
Bounties & Creations
Before we dive in, here’s a quick recap on the types of projects financed by the Community Fund - Bounties and Creations - and how to apply to each.
“Bounties” are projects we deem a priority and actively seek the creation of. For currently available bounties, head to Community Fund Bounties.
“Creations” refer to ideas community members would like to submit for evaluation.

Bounty Awarded: Mandarin Lore Translation
Summary
Translation of CyberBrokers lore into Mandarin.

Why we love it:
There is nothing like reading a story in your native tongue. This is especially true for the CyberBrokers lore. Over time, we hope to expand the languages that lore are available in through translation bounties, starting here with Mandarin.
Availability:
The first five (5) chapters of lore will be available in Mandarin on the CyberBrokers website by the end of August. Additional chapters in Mandarin will be added on a rolling basis to catch up, and then have as short a delay as possible for Mandarin translations when new chapters drop.
Creation Awarded: Lost Paradigms
Summary
Lost Paradigms is a collection of 10,001 unique generative banners, or “Paradigms”, that visualize scenes described in The Paradigm Lost lore.
Each Paradigm, designed to be perfectly displayed as Twitter banners, captures one of the panthea of moments that might materialize through the power of our collective imaginings - created in meticulous detail by talented digital artists Visual Swim and Gabriel. Additional artwork from the project can be seen in this tweet.
All of the custom 3D assets that are developed to depict the Paradigms will be made available to the CyberBrokers community for future community projects.

Why we love it:
We are thrilled to fund this project and help turn their idea into reality. The project started as just an idea, but through passion, discussions on Creator Calls, and networking, it came to life. The team found people with the needed skills and worked together to form a detailed plan.
All CyberBrokers owners will benefit directly from this project. Not only will a repository of digital assets become available for all to use, but CyberBroker holders will be able to mint first with a special offer to be announced prior to mint.
The awarded amount will eventually be paid back after mint along with a portion of secondary sales, paying it forward for additional Creations to be funded.

Submission Awarded: AI Text-to-Image Bot
Summary:
This project will allow community members to turn text descriptions into AI-generated CyberBrokers-themed images in Discord - made possible by the Pixelcat bot from 330.ai using the Pixelmindai toolkit.
Pixelmindai lowers the barriers to participation in the exciting and quickly evolving field of AI image technologies through their web platform and Pixelcat discord bot.

330.ai for their community-based, Pixelcat discord bot for AI features.
Why we love it:
This tool sits at the intersection of artwork, storytelling, and collaboration. The idea of pairing our rich lore with your creative interpretations of TPL to create unique works is a no-brainer. We can’t wait to see what your imagination brings to life.

Availability:
Installation and configuration have already begun.
Late-August: Beta for limited holders begins.
Early-September: Bot will launch to all holders and the Usage Policy will be shared.
Mid-October: CyberBrokers holders to provide their feedback.

The community hosts a weekly “Creator Call” in the CyberBrokers Discord Voice and General channels, offering the perfect place for members to share project ideas, find out what others are working on and possibly get involved, or simply ask questions and stay connected.
